2A Case Assessment Direction dated February 14, 2013 directed as follows:
The applicant is required to file any documents that he intends to rely on at the hearing by March 5, 2013. The applicant is not required to file documents if there are no additional documents that he intends to rely on. However, by March 5, 2013, the applicant must send written confirmation to the respondent and that the Tribunal that he intends to participate in the April 19, 2013 hearing.
3A Case Assessment Direction dated March 14, 2013 directed as follows:
By March 20, 2013, the applicant must confirm in writing to the Tribunal and the respondent’s counsel that he intends to participate in the hearing scheduled for April 19, 2013. If written confirmation is not received by March 20, 2013, the Application may be dismissed as abandoned.
4There is no indication that these Case Assessment Directions were not delivered to the applicant or that he did not receive them. The Tribunal has not received any communication from the applicant for some time and he has not responded to the Case Assessment Directions.
5It therefore appears that the applicant has abandoned the Application.
DECISION
6The Application is dismissed as abandoned. The hearing scheduled for April 19, 2013 is cancelled.
