Karandeep Lidder v. The Regional Municipality of Peel Police Services Board, 2013 HRTO 2051

1The applicant filed an Application under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended, on August 9, 2013 and the respondent filed a Response on October 8, 2013. Although both parties indicated that they agreed to attend mediation, the applicant has not provided the Tribunal with an available date for mediation, as requested by the Tribunal, nor has she otherwise contacted the Tribunal since filing the Application.

2By correspondence dated November 19, 2013, the Tribunal advised the applicant that if she did not respond within 10 days of the date of the correspondence, the Tribunal would deem the Application abandoned and close its file. The applicant has not responded to the Tribunal’s correspondence.

3In the circumstances, the applicant is deemed to have abandoned the Application.
