1The Tribunal issued a letter to the applicant on October 4, 2013 containing the following information and directions:

• The parties consented to mediation and were advised of the mediation date, October 2, 2013, by Notice dated July 16, 2013;
• The applicant failed to appear at the mediation;
• The applicant failed to advise the Tribunal prior to the scheduled date or at any time after the mediation date that she could not attend;
• The applicant was to advise the Tribunal by October 15, 2013 whether she intends to proceed with this Application, failing which, the Tribunal may dismiss the Application as abandoned;
• The applicant’s attention was drawn to Rule 5.4 of the Tribunal’s Rules which states that the Tribunal may finally determine an Application without further notice to any person who cannot be contacted by the Tribunal according to the contact information provided to the Tribunal by that person;

2The applicant has not made contact with the Tribunal and the time for doing so has now passed. The Tribunal has not received any indication that the applicant did not receive the Notice of Mediation and the letter of October 4, 2013. I am satisfied that the applicant has abandoned the Application.

3Accordingly, the Application is dismissed as abandoned.
