This is an Application filed under section 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the "Code"), alleging discrimination with respect to employment because of disability, sex and reprisal. The hearing in this matter is scheduled to proceed on November 4, 5, and 6, 2013.
In a previous Interim Decision, 2012 HRTO 1397, the Tribunal granted intervenor status to the United Steelworkers Local 2251 ("the intervenor").
On March 3, 2013, the intervenor wrote to the Tribunal stating that it no longer wished to intervene in the proceedings and that it sought leave of the Tribunal to end its participation. The intervenor copied the applicant and the respondent on its correspondence, but it appears that neither party filed communications with the Tribunal addressing this issue.
The intervenor's request to withdraw from participating in these proceedings is granted and the style of cause is amended accordingly.
Dated at Toronto, this 17th day of October, 2013.
