1This is an Application filed under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”).

2On May 17, 2013, the respondents filed a Response (Form 2) to the Application, wherein they requested that the Application be deferred pending completion of another matter with the Ministry of Labour. On May 21, 2013, the Tribunal delivered to the applicant the respondents’ Response and a Notice of Request to Defer, and directed the applicant to file a Reply to the Response, including submissions in response to the respondents’ request to defer.

3On May 17, 2013, the respondents also delivered to the applicant and filed with the Tribunal a Request for Summary Hearing (Form 26). The applicant did not respond to this Request.

4In a Case Assessment Direction issued to the parties on June 26, 2013 the applicant was directed to file submissions in response to the respondents’ request to defer, and a Response to the respondents’ Request for Summary Hearing, within 14 days of the date of the Case Assessment Direction failing which the Application may be dismissed as abandoned.

5The applicant has not responded to these Directions nor has he communicated with the Tribunal in any way. The applicant appears to have abandoned this Application and accordingly it is dismissed.
