Introduction
1This Interim Decision deals with the applicant’s Request for Order During Proceedings (Form 10) asking to amend her Application to add a request for further relief. At the time the applicant filed her Application on October 4, 2011, under section 34 of Part IV of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19 as amended (the “Code”) she was unrepresented. Since then, she has retained the Human Rights Legal Support Centre to represent her.
2In her current Application, the only remedy sought by the applicant is “swipe access” to a ground floor washroom. In her request, the applicant seeks $15,000 in damages for injury to her dignity, feelings and self-respect, the ability to use the washroom without permission, the development of a human rights policy and human rights training concerning the duty to accommodate a person with a disability.
3On their face, the proposed amendments are reasonable. Although there is a hearing scheduled in this matter, the hearing dates are not until July 31-August 1, 2013. The respondent has not filed its hearing material at this point and would appear not to be prejudiced by the requested amendments. Moreover, the respondent has not filed a Response to the Request for Order (Form 11), or any other material suggesting its opposition to the applicant’s Request.

4Accordingly, this Application is amended to include the relief outlined in paragraph 2 above.
Dated at Toronto, this 12th day of June, 2013.
