INTERIM DECISION
Adjudicator: Michelle Flaherty
Indexed as: Johnson v. Quality Home Services
1The purpose of this Interim Decision is to address the applicant’s request that a hearing scheduled for April 11 and 12, 2012 be rescheduled. For the reasons that follow, the applicant’s request is granted.
2On February 22, 2012, the applicant wrote to the Tribunal (and copied the respondents) to request that the hearing be adjourned because of the death of a member of his family overseas. The applicant indicates that the funeral services have been delayed because of legal proceedings. In his correspondence, the applicant states that one of the respondents, Quality Homes Services, has consented to his request for an adjournment.
3I am satisfied that the extraordinary circumstances of this case warrant a rescheduling of the hearing dates.
Dated in Toronto, this 16th day of March, 2012.
