HUMAN RIGHTS TRIBUNAL OF ONTARIO
B E T W E E N:
Robert Daykin
Applicant
-and-
Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited
Respondent
INTERIM decision
Adjudicator: Mary Truemner
Indexed as: Daykin v. Ford Motor Company of Canada
1This Application was deferred by way of Interim Decision 2011 HRTO 1294 pending the conclusion of the applicant’s grievance process.
2On June 20, 2012, the applicant filed a Request for Order During Proceedings requesting that the Application be reactivated because he settled his grievance. The applicant provided a copy of a letter from his union, dated May 16, 2012, which states that the grievance was settled on April 12, 2012.
3The respondent wrote to the Tribunal, copying the applicant, to confirm receipt of the Request, but it has not filed a response and the time for doing so has passed.
4Given that there no longer appears to be a concurrent grievance process, the Request to reactivate the Application is granted.
5I am not seized of this matter.
Dated at Toronto, this 13th day of September, 2012.
