Introduction
1The applicant filed an Application under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”), on November 28, 2011.
2In the response filed, the responding party sought to have the Tribunal dismiss the Application as the applicant signed a full and final release with respect to the same matter.
3On April 12, 2012, the Tribunal sent correspondence to the applicant requesting submissions on the Request to Dismiss, to be delivered to the other party not later than April 26, 2012. The applicant was informed that if she did not file written submissions by the required time, the HRTO Application could be dismissed as abandoned.
4To date, the applicant has not responded to the Tribunal’s correspondence.
5In the circumstances, the applicant is deemed to have abandoned the Application.
6The Application is dismissed.
