Reasons for Decision
1This is an Interim Decision to give some case direction prior to a hearing.
2Two Applications have been filed by this applicant, under the Ontario Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990 c. H.19, as amended ("the Code"). Tribunal file number T-0936-08, filed December 31, 2008 under Part VI, alleges discrimination and harassment on the basis of disability. Tribunal file number 2009-02061-I, filed on April 23, 2009 under s. 34, alleges reprisal. The Applications were scheduled for mediation together; no resolution was reached.
3Pursuant to Rule 1.7 (d) of the Tribunal's Rules of Procedure, the Tribunal may "consolidate or hear Applications together". In the circumstances, and on my review of the material in the files, it appears reasonable that the two Applications be heard together. The Registrar shall schedule a hearing as soon as possible.
4I am not seized of this matter.
