1This is an Application filed under section 34 of Part IV of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended.
2A Registrar’s letter was issued on January 11, 2011, asking that the parties update the Tribunal on the status of this Application. The letter indicated that if the applicant did not respond within ten days of the date of the letter, the Tribunal would deem the Application to be abandoned and close the file. The letter was sent by email to both contact email addresses provided by the applicant. The applicant did not respond to the letter.
3A Case Assessment Direction was sent to the applicant on January 31, 2011, providing the applicant with a further five days to contact the Tribunal in writing to indicate whether he wished to pursue this Application and advising him that if he did not do so the Application would be deemed abandoned and the file closed. The applicant did not respond and the time to do so has passed.
4In the circumstances, this Application is dismissed as abandoned, and the Tribunal’s file is closed.
