1The applicant filed an Application with the Tribunal on April 14, 2011 pursuant to section 34 of the Ontario Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”) alleging discrimination with respect to housing on the basis of disability.
2The respondent Housing Connections filed a Response on May 11, 2011, denying the allegations of discrimination.
3The applicant filed a Reply on July 14, 2011.
4On October 7, 2011, the applicant filed a Request for Order During Proceedings seeking that the Toronto Community Housing Corporation, a related organization be added as a respondent.
5On November 7, 2011, the representative for the respondent Housing Connections filed a response submission on behalf of the original respondent and the proposed respondent consenting to the request to add the Toronto Community Housing Corporation as an additional respondent.
6Given the consent of the respondent and the proposed respondent, the Tribunal will add the Toronto Community Housing Corporation as a respondent party.
DIRECTIONS:
7The Tribunal orders as follows:
(i) The Toronto Community Housing Corporation is added as a respondent to this Application and the style of cause is amended to reflect the same;
(ii) Should the respondent Toronto Community Housing Corporation wish to file a Response, it may do so within 35 days of the date of this Interim Decision; and
(iii) The applicant may file a Reply to the Response within 14 days of receipt of the Response.
8I am not seized.
