INTERIM DECISION
Adjudicator: Brian Eyolfson
Date: November 1, 2011
Citation: 2011 HRTO 1972
Indexed as: Erskine v. 510947 Ontario
1The applicant filed this Application on February 5, 2010, under section 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”), alleging discrimination on the basis of age in employment. In an earlier Interim Decision, 2011 HRTO 797, the Application was amended to include the ground of disability, and with respect to the financial relief sought by the applicant.
2This Interim Decision addresses the applicant’s Request for an Order During Proceedings (“Request”) to have the name of the organizational respondent amended.
3The Application named “Anchor Inn” as an organizational respondent. On July 14, 2011, the applicant delivered to the respondents, and filed with the Tribunal, a Request to have the name of the organizational respondent amended to properly identify it as “510947 Ontario Limited o/a Anchor Inn Hotel”. The applicant submitted that the organizational respondent is already participating as a party in the proceedings and that the Request was made on consent of the parties.
4In the circumstances, the applicant’s Request to amend the name of the organizational respondent is granted and the style of cause is amended accordingly.
5I am not seized of this matter.
Dated at Toronto, this 1st day of November, 2011.
