BACKGROUND
1The applicant filed an Application under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended, (the “Code”), on August 31, 2009, and the respondents filed a Response on November 9, 2009.
2A Notice of Confirmation of hearing was sent via Canada Post to the parties by the Tribunal Registrar on March 2, 2011. I am satisfied that the Applicant had notice of the hearing.
3The applicant failed to appear on August 3, 2011, the date scheduled for hearing the Application. I stood the matter down for thirty minutes, but the applicant failed to appear or contact the Tribunal to explain the failure to attend.
ORDER
4In the circumstances, the applicant is deemed to have abandoned the Application and the Application is dismissed.
