1This is an Application filed July 7, 2010, under section 34 of Part IV of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”), alleging discrimination on the basis of age in employment. The Application was initially filed only against Hudson’s Bay Company. On March 8, 2011, the applicant filed a Request for Order During Proceeding seeking to add Advantage Personnel Ltd. as a party. The current respondent and the proposed respondent consent to the Request. In the circumstances, the respondent Advantage Personnel Ltd. is added as a party and the style of cause is amended accordingly.
2As all parties are agreeable to mediation, mediation will be scheduled. The request by Advantage Personnel Ltd. that the Application be dismissed on the basis of section 45.1 of the Code remains outstanding and will be addressed, if necessary, following mediation.
