1The applicant filed an Application on June 30, 2009 under section 53(5) of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O 1990, c. H. 19, as amended.

2By letter dated December 18, 2009, the Tribunal set out a schedule of dates for the provision of submissions. The applicant’s submissions were due by March 5, 2010. By letter dated February 25, 2010, the deadline for the applicant to file submissions was extended to March 12, 2010. No submissions were received from the applicant.

3By letter dated April 6, 2010, the Tribunal advised the applicant she had not been in touch with the Tribunal since January 14, 2010 when the Tribunal was advised that she was no longer represented by counsel, and that she had not filed the required submissions by March 12, 2010. The letter advised the applicant that she had 14 calendar days to advise the respondents and the Tribunal whether she intends to proceed with her Application. The letter also stated that if the Tribunal does not hear from the applicant by that time, it will deem her to have abandoned her Application, cancel the hearing scheduled for May 25, 2010 and close its file in this matter.

4The applicant did not contact the Tribunal within 14 calendar days and is hereby deemed to have abandoned her Application.
