1This is an Application filed on October 13, 2009 under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended. The purpose of this Interim Decision is to address a request to amend the pleadings to correct the name of one of the personal respondents.
2On November 26, 2009, the respondents filed a Request for Order During Proceedings (Form 10) seeking to amend the pleadings to remove the personal respondent, Charlene Linzon. Their reason in support of this request is that this personal respondent was named in error. The respondents state in their Response that the physician to whom the applicant’s allegations most likely relate is Perla Lansang.
3On December 2, 2009, the applicant filed a Request for Order During Proceedings (Form 10) seeking to amend the Application to remove Charlene Linzon as a respondent and to add Perla Lansang.
4It is clear that the parties agree Charlene Linzon was named in the Application in error. She is removed as a personal respondent. It is also clear that the applicant’s allegations relate to Perla Lansang, who is added as a personal respondent. The style of cause is amended accordingly.
5The parties have indicated a desire to avail themselves of the Tribunal’s mediation service. The Registrar will schedule the matter for mediation.
