HUMAN RIGHTS TRIBUNAL OF ONTARIO
B E T W E E N:
Ebrima Jammeh Applicant
-and-
Fido Inc. Respondent
DECISION
Adjudicator: Brian Eyolfson
Indexed as: Jammeh v. Fido
1The applicant filed an Application under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended, (the “Code”), on September 14, 2010.
2On October 28, 2010 the Tribunal issued a Notice of Intent to Dismiss the Application on the basis that the Application appeared to be outside the Tribunal’s jurisdiction because it was filed more than one year after the alleged incident of discrimination and a review of the Application failed to identify any specific acts of discrimination allegedly committed by the respondent. The applicant was directed to provide his submissions on these issues to the Tribunal within 30 days of the date of the Notice and warned that failure to do so could result in dismissal of the Application as abandoned.
3As of the date of this Decision, the applicant has not responded to the Tribunal and the time for doing so has passed.
4In the circumstances, the applicant is deemed to have abandoned the Application and the Application is dismissed.
Dated at Toronto, this 7^th^ day of December, 2010.
