1This is an Application filed on January 14, 2009 under section 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19 as amended.
2On July 8, 2009 the Applicant e-mailed the Tribunal to indicate that her mailing address had changed. Correspondence mailed by the Tribunal to this new address after July 8, 2009 was not returned. On September 9, 2009, the applicant e-mailed the Tribunal to indicate that her mailing address had changed again. A document sent by the Tribunal to the applicant to this new address on October 30, 2009 was not returned.
3On June 15, 2010 the Tribunal mailed a document to the Applicant at the address provided on September 9, 2009. This document was returned to the Tribunal with a "Return to Sender" stamp and with the notation "moved" handwritten on the front of the envelope.
4On July 5, 2010 the Tribunal e-mailed the applicant at the e-mail address she identified on her Application and which she has used consistently to contact the Tribunal. The Tribunal indicated to the applicant that the document mailed to the applicant on June 15, 2010 had been returned and asked that the applicant provide her updated contact information within 10 days or else the Tribunal may consider the applicant's Application to be abandoned. The Tribunal has received no response from the applicant as of the date of this Decision.
5Rule 1.13 of the Tribunal's current Rules of Procedure requires parties to notify the Tribunal and all parties and their representatives in writing of any change in their contact information. The applicant has done so twice. However, it appears that her most recent address on file is no longer valid and she has not advised the Tribunal of any new address or otherwise responded to recent communication from the Tribunal, despite the Tribunal indicating that her new contact information is required or else her Application may be declared abandoned.
6Given these circumstances the Tribunal dismisses the Application as abandoned.
