1This complaint was filed with the Ontario Human Rights Commission (“Commission”) on January 21, 2005 and referred to the Tribunal by the Commission on October 16, 2007 pursuant to s.36(1) of Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, (the “Code”) as in force on that date.
2The parties asked the Tribunal to cease processing the complaint pending settlement discussions.
3On June 26, 2009, the complainant filed an Application under section 53(5) of Part VI of the Code based on the subject-matter of the complaint already referred to the Tribunal. The Tribunal has no authority to accept the complaint as part of a section 53(5) application because the complaint is already before the Tribunal.
4The complainant may ask the Registrar-Transition to resume processing her complaint at any time.
