1This Decision deals with an Application filed on August 25, 2008, under section 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19 as amended, (the “Code”).
2The parties agreed to participate in mediation and a session was scheduled for March 23, 2009. The session was cancelled at the request of the applicant. The Tribunal contacted the applicant to consult about new dates but no response was received. The Tribunal’s Registrar wrote to the applicant on March 31, 2009. He advised that the applicant must advise the Tribunal if the applicant wanted to continue the Application. The Registrar indicated:
If you do not respond within ten days of the date of this letter, the Tribunal will deem you to have abandoned the Application and close the file.
3To date, no response has been received.
4The applicant is deemed to have abandoned the Application and the Tribunal will close the file.
