1The applicant filed an Application under s. 53(3) of Part VI of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended, (the “Code”). A Case Resolution Conference was held on September 15, 2009. The applicant did not attend the Case Resolution Conference and the respondents requested, among other things, that the Application be dismissed as abandoned.
2On September 16, 2009, the Tribunal issued an Interim Decision, 2009 HRTO 1487, advising the applicant that the Application would be dismissed if he did not contact the Tribunal within 30 days to explain his absence and to provide reasons of why the Application should not be dismissed as abandoned. The applicant has not contacted the Tribunal as required by the Interim Decision.
3In the circumstances, the applicant is deemed to have abandoned his Application.
4The Application is dismissed.
