INTERIM DECISION
Adjudicator: Kathleen Martin
Indexed as: Musa v. Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences
1In this complaint, the Ontario Human Rights Commission has filed a Request for an Order during Proceedings, dated August 6, 2009 seeking an order “acknowledging the Commission’s withdrawal from the proceeding and finding that the withdrawal does not give rise to transitional issues and need not be the subject of any conditions.” There have been a number of hearing dates already in this matter and the Commission has not been participating.
2The Request was served on the other parties, none of whom have responded. Further, no request has been made for any transitional directions and I am satisfied that none are required.
3Having regard to the material before me, I allow the Commission’s Request to withdraw. The Commission will continue to receive notice of the proceeding, but will be removed from the title of proceeding.
Dated at Toronto, this 29th day of September, 2009.
