1This is an Application alleging discrimination on the basis of disability contrary to the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”). The applicant filed a Request to Expedite Proceedings along with the Application. The Tribunal denied this request in an Interim Decision, HRTO 1153. Mr. Quintieri has now asked that the Tribunal reconsider its Interim Decision.

2Section 45.7 (1) of the Code states that any party to a proceeding before the Tribunal may request that the Tribunal reconsider its decision in accordance with the Tribunal Rules. Rule 26 of the Tribunal Rules of Procedure states that any party may request reconsideration of a final decision of the Tribunal. The refusal to expedite was not a final decision and as such is not subject to reconsideration. Consequently Request for reconsideration is denied
