Date: July 23, 2009
Citation: 2009 HRTO 1117
Indexed as: Everingham v. Ontario (Health and Long-Term Care)
1The Ontario Human Rights Commission (the “Commission”) has filed a Request for an Order during Proceedings, dated June 1, 2009, seeking an order “acknowledging the Commission’s withdrawal from the proceeding, and finding that the withdrawal does not give rise to transitional issues and need not be the subject of any conditions.”
2The Request was served on the other parties, none of whom have responded.
3As there do not appear to be any transitional issues, the Commission’s Request is granted. The Commission is allowed to withdraw from participation in these proceedings, without conditions. The Commission will continue to receive notice of the proceedings.
Dated at Toronto, this 23rd day of July, 2009.
