INTERIM DECISION
This Interim Decision address a request by the applicant to expedite the hearing of this matter pursuant to Rule 21 of the Tribunal's Rules of Procedure for applications under Part IV of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the "Code").
The applicant and the respondents have provided submissions in writing on the request to expedite. Since the applicant indicated that she is a member of the Elementary Teachers of Toronto (ETT), the ETT was also sent a copy of the Application and it has also provided its position on the request.
On review of the materials filed, and having regard to the discussion in Weerawardane v. 2152458 Ontario Ltd., 2008 HRTO 53 [CHRR Doc. 08-503], the Tribunal denies the request to expedite. The circumstances are not so particularly urgent as to distinguish them from other cases before the Tribunal.
