1By letter dated October 8, 1998, the Respondents advised the Board of Inquiry that a settlement had been reached in this matter. They filed a Form 3 (Confirmation of Full Settlement) executed by the Complainant and the Respondents only.
2The Ontario Human Rights Commission is not a party to the settlement, but advised the Board of Inquiry by letter dated November 10, 1998 that it did not wish to proceed with the hearing under the circumstances.
3Having regard to the foregoing, I am interpreting the Commission's November 10, 1998 correspondence as consent to the Board's granting the request of the Complainant and the Respondents that this matter be disposed of in accordance with the terms of their settlement. It is so ordered.
