At the hearing of this matter on June 1, 1995, the following was stated on the record.
- A settlement, dated June 1, 1995, was entered into between Complainant Hollis Joe and the Respondents.
- The Complainant stated that he was satisfied with the terms of the settlement and that he does not wish to pursue the complaint further.
- The Complainant stated that he has agreed not to discuss the terms of the settlement or the allegations of the complaint detailed in the settlement for a period of five (5) years.
- Counsel for the Commission stated that in light of these developments, the Commission would not be presenting any additional evidence, and I stated that my interpretation of that was that the Commission would not be pursing the matter further.
THEREFORE, as stated at the hearing on June 1, 1995, based on the terms of the settlement entered into between the Complainant and the Respondents dated June 1, 1995, as well as the above-listed statements, the complaint in this case is hereby dismissed.
