Summary: The complainant withdrew her allegation of sex discrimination upon arriving at a satisfactory agreement with her employer.
DECISION
1On the 11th day of December, 1980, I was appointed a Board of Inquiry by the Minister of Labour to enquire into the complaint made by Ms. Judy Belrose that she was discriminated against in her employment because of her sex contrary to Section 4(1)(9) of the Ontario Human Rights Code.
2On March 13, 1981, I was informed by the Commission that the Complainant had indicated, in writing, that she had arrived at a satisfactory agreement with her employer, the Respondent company, and that she wished no further action in this matter to be undertaken.
3In view of the following documents which were filed with me and copies of which are attached to this decision:
Letter from Complainant dated February 9th, 1981.
Letter from the Ontario Human Rights Commission dated March 18, 1981.
Signed statement from the Complainant Judy Belrose dated March 18, 1981.
4I have decided, pursuant to Section 14(c) of the Code that there is no evidence presented before me indicating whether or not any party has contravened the provisions of the Ontario Human Rights Code in relation to the complaint in question.
