The applicant sought judicial review of a decision by the Immigration Appeal Division finding her inadmissible to Canada on security grounds. She had worked for IRFAN Canada, an organization designated as a terrorist entity due to its ties to Hamas. The IAD determined that her employment, which included handling and distributing funds, constituted an institutional link and placed her in a position of trust, thereby establishing reasonable grounds to believe she was a member of the organization under paragraph 34(1)(f) of the IRPA. The Federal Court held that the IAD's decision was reasonable, as it logically connected her role and responsibilities to the broad interpretation of membership, and dismissed the application.
