The Member, a registered nurse, pleaded guilty to professional misconduct for claiming sick benefits from one employer while working shifts at another facility on 35 occasions.
The Discipline Committee accepted a joint submission on penalty, ordering a reprimand and a six-month suspension, which would be suspended provided the Member paid $5,750 in restitution to the defrauded employer.
The Committee also denied the Member's request for a publication ban, finding that the public interest in open hearings outweighed her privacy interests.
