DECISION AND REASONS FOR DECISION
This matter came on for hearing before a panel of the Discipline Committee (the “Panel”) of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists (the “College”), on August 7, 2024, via videoconference.
The allegations against Ms. Cheng are contained in a Notice of Hearing dated September 8,
At the hearing, College counsel told us that they were seeking to withdraw the allegations in the Notice of Hearing because Ms. Cheng passed away. The College filed a copy of a death certificate for Ms. Cheng.
Since Ms. Cheng is deceased, it was not in the public interest to require a hearing.
Accordingly, the allegations in the Notice of Hearing were withdrawn.
