Introduction
1This is an Application filed under section 120 of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017, S.O. 2017, c.14, Sched.1, (the "Act").
2The Applicant is the mother of a child she says was kidnapped.
3This decision explains why the Application is not eligible for review by the CFSRB.
ANALYSIS
4At paragraph 6 of the Application, the Applicant checked off the box indicating that the Society did not give her a chance to be heard when decisions that affected her interests were made. In the space provided for the Applicant to explain her complaint in detail, the Applicant wrote "My daughter was kidnapped. Than (sic) the dad and I are extorted after cops tried to kill us." No other details were provided.
5The CFSRB’s Rules of Procedure set out at Rule 20.1 that an application must contain relevant details in support of allegations that the society failed to ensure children, young persons and their parents had an opportunity to be heard, pursuant to subsection 15(2) of the Act.
6The Application does not contain details to support the allegations. Moreover, the explanation provided by the Applicant does not contain allegations against the Respondent. As such, the Application is not eligible for review by the CFSRB.
ORDER
7The Application is dismissed.
