1This is an application under section 144(3) of the Child and Family Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. C11 for a review of the decision of the Respondent to refuse the application of the Applicants to adopt [Child 1] born [date of birth] and [child 2] born [date of birth] (the “Children”).
2Having heard the evidence and the submissions of the parties, the Board:
- Rescinds the decision of the Society to refuse the application of the Applicants to adopt the Children.
- Orders that the Children be placed for adoption with the Applicants.
- The Board will remain seized for matters relating to the implementation of this decision.
- Reasons for this decision will follow.
