Allegations
1A hearing into Amended Notice of Proposal number 17861 dated February 3, 2010 to revoke a liquor licence and an Order dated January 29, 2010 to immediately suspend on an interim basis liquor licence number 810331 (the "Licence"), issued to 2173676 Ontario Inc., operating as PARTY WORLD KTV, 8 Glen Watford Drive, Second Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M1S 2C1, on the basis of alleged violations of section 6 and subsection 45(1) of the Liquor Licence Act ("LLA") and sections 29 and 45.2 and subsections 25(1) and 45(1) of Ontario Revised Regulation 719/90 made pursuant to the LLA, was held on February 4, 2010 in the City of Toronto..
Reasons and Order
2At the commencement of the hearing, Mr. Levitan advised the Board that he had been instructed by the Licensee to surrender the liquor licence effective immediately. The principal of the corporate licensee, Kwong Yur Johnny So, was present at the hearing,
3Mr. Kulis advised that the Registrar would, with the immediate surrender of the licence, withdraw the Amended Notice of Proposal.
4The Board, having considered the submissions of the parties, accepted the immediate surrender of liquor licence number 810331, issued to 2173676 Ontario Inc., operating as PARTY WORLD KTV, 8 Glen Watford Drive, Second Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M1S 2C1.
5The Board also accepted the withdrawal of the Amended Notice of Proposal by the Registrar.
