ADAMS PIZZERIA (PRESCOTT) LTD. OPERATING AS
THE LIMIT EXOTIC LOUNGE,
147 KING STREET WEST, PRESCOTT
LICENCE NUMBER 201939
ORDER
WHEREAS the Registrar of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (the “Registrar”) issued Notice of Proposal number 18016 dated April 16, 2010 to revoke a licence and an Order dated April 16, 2010 to immediately suspend on an interim basis liquor licence number 201939 issued to Adams Pizzeria (Prescott) Ltd. (the “Licensee”), operating as THE LIMIT EXOTIC LOUNGE, 147 King Street West, Prescott, Ontario, K0E 1T0, with respect to section 6 of the Liquor Licence Act (the “LLA”) and on the basis of alleged violations of section 52 and subsections 25(1), 31.1(1), 34(1), 45(1) and 45(2) of Ontario Regulation 719/90 made pursuant to the LLA;
AND WHEREAS the Licensee requested a hearing into these matters on April 30, 2010;
AND WHEREAS the hearing had been scheduled to commence on May 11, 2010, and continue as necessary on May 13, 2010;
AND WHEREAS a request for an adjournment of the hearing by the Licensee’s Representative, dated May 6, 2010, has been consented to by the Registrar’s Representative, on the condition that the Interim Suspension remains in effect until a Panel of the Board convenes at a hearing to deal with the Interim Suspension. The Licensee has agreed with the Registrar’s Representative that the Interim Suspension shall remain in place;
THEREFORE the Board hereby ADJOURNS the May 11, 2010 and May 13, 2010 hearing dates. A new hearing date shall be set by the Hearings Department in consultation with the availability of the Licensee’s Representative and the Registrar’s Representative. The Board further ORDERS that the Interim Suspension currently in place on liquor licence number 201939 issued to Adams Pizzeria (Prescott) Ltd., operating as THE LIMIT EXOTIC LOUNGE, 147 King Street West, Prescott, Ontario, K0E 1T0, remains in effect pending commencement of the hearing by a Panel of the Board who will deal with the matter on that day.
