O R D E R
WHEREAS the Board of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (“AGCO”) held a tele-conference pre-hearing on April 7, 2010, pursuant to Notice of Proposal (“NOP”) number 17898 dated February 23, 2010 to review an application for a liquor sales licence made by Hotel on Queen Inc. (the “Applicant”), operating as or intending to operate as HOTEL ON QUEEN, 335 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario, M5V 2A4;
AND WHEREAS the Registrar’s Representative, Phillip Morris, the Applicant’s Representative, David Winer, and Sarah O’Connor, the Representative for the City of Toronto, were present and participated in the pre-hearing;
AND WHEREAS Ms O’Connor, on behalf of the City of Toronto, requested party status in respect of this matter which request was not opposed by Mr. Morris or Mr. Winer;
AND WHEREAS this NOP matter is scheduled for a hearing commencing April 15, 2010;
THEREFORE the Board hereby ORDERS as follows:
- The City of Toronto is hereby granted party status;
- The Parties, through their Representatives, shall disclose pursuant to Rule 10 of AGCO Revised Rules of Practice and specifically pursuant to Rule 10.3, a list of witnesses and a detailed summary of each witness’ evidence, as well as disclosure pursuant to Rule 10.2. Disclosure is to be completed by April 12, 2010.
