IN THE MATTER OF THE LIQUOR LICENCE OF
1710643 ONTARIO LIMITED OPERATING AS ROYAL TAVERN, 119 KING STREET EAST, CHATHAM LICENCE NUMBER 91064
AND IN THE MATTER OF THE BOARD’S DECISION DATED DECEMBER 18, 2008
AMENDED ORDER
WHEREAS in its decision dated December 18, 2008, the Board approved an application by 1710643 Ontario Limited operating as ROYAL TAVERN, 119 King Street East, Chatham, Ontario, N7M 3N1, liquor licence number 91064, to licence an additional outdoor area for 16 persons and ordered three conditions be attached to the licence;
AND WHEREAS in a letter dated December 22, 2008, the Licensee requested the Board amend condition a of the decision;
AND WHEREAS in a letter dated December 23, 2008, an amendment of condition a was not opposed by the Registrar;
AND WHEREAS in an email dated January 6, 2009, an amendment of condition a was opposed by Michele Featherstone, who, on consent of the parties, was made a party to the proceedings in the hearing held on October 9, 2008;
AND WHEREAS an amendment to condition a is acceptable to the Board;
THEREFORE the Board AMENDS paragraph 58, condition a, of the Board’s decision dated December 18, 2008, to read as follows:
a. The holder of the licence shall not sell or serve and shall not permit consumption of liquor on the patio or other outdoor areas after 10:00 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday, and after midnight on every other day;
