Allegations

1A hearing into a Notice of Proposed Order (“NOPO”) dated September 22, 2008 to revoke the registration of MARLON ZAMORA MUNDACRUZ as a gaming assistant, registration number 123430, on the basis of section 12 of the Gaming Control Act, 1992 that there are reasonable grounds to believe that the Registrant will not act as a gaming assistant in accordance with law, or with integrity, honesty, or in the public interest, having regard to the past conduct, was held on February 3, 2009, in the City of Kingston.

Preliminary Matters

2The Registrant, Mr. Marlon Mundacruz, appeared on his own behalf and waived his right to be represented by a barrister and solicitor.

3Mr. Mundacruz advised that he wished to withdraw his request for a hearing and no longer wished to proceed with the hearing.

4The Registrar’s Representative, Ms. Bryna Kaplan, requested that the Board order that the registration of Mr. Mundacruz be revoked effective March 1, 2009.

5Having considered the information presented, the Board CONFIRMS its oral ORDER that the registration of MARLON ZAMORA MUNDACRUZ, 54 Virginia Street, Unit 303, Kingston, Ontario, K7K 5Y4, registration number 123430, be REVOKED effective March 1, 2009.
