O R D E R
WHEREAS the Board of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission ("AGCO") held a hearing on October 28, 2008, pursuant to Notice of Proposal number 16532 ("NOP") dated July 30, 2008, to review an application for a liquor licence for the indoor area of the premises with a capacity of 38 persons from Samantha Sarah Fletcher and Deborah Lee Fletcher, operating or intending to operate as SIRENIS FISH & CHIPS, 4171 Innisfil Beach Road, Unit 3, Thornton, Ontario, L0L 2N0, establishment number 813307;
AND WHEREAS the Registrar is taking no position regarding the application;
AND WHEREAS one objector who filed a letter with the AGCO has withdrawn his objection;
AND WHEREAS a number of objectors signed a petition opposing the application, some of whom did not live in the locale of the establishment;
AND WHEREAS a placard was placed at eye level on the outside wall of the establishment on October 21, 2008 advising the date, time and place of the hearing of the NOP, and has been continuously posted from that date to now;
AND WHEREAS no objectors have appeared at the hearing;
THEREFORE the Board hereby ORDERS that the licence be issued to Samantha Sarah Fletcher and Deborah Lee Fletcher, operating or intending to operate as SIRENIS FISH & CHIPS, 4171 Innisfil Beach Road, Unit 3, Thornton, Ontario, L0L 2N0, establishment number 280843, as applied for.
