VIET TRUONG OPERATING AS GIA-HAN QUAN KARAOKE BAR,
430 YORK BOULEVARD, UNIT 6, HAMILTON,
LICENCE NUMBER 805193
O R D E R
WHEREAS the Board of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission ("AGCO") held a hearing on July 2, 2008, pursuant to Notice of Proposal number 16123 dated March 17, 2008, to suspend liquor licence number 805193 issued to Viet Truong (the "Licensee"), operating as GIA-HAN QUAN KARAOKE BAR, 430 York Boulevard, Unit 6, Hamilton, Ontario, L8R 3K8;
AND WHEREAS in its decision of August 29, 2008, the Board found that the Licensee contravened subsections 45(1) and 45(2) of the Liquor Licence Act (LLA) and section 29 of Ontario Revised Regulation 719/90 prescribed under the LLA;
AND WHEREAS in its decision of October 2, 2008, the Board ordered a FIFTEEN (15) day suspension of the liquor licence and a condition was imposed on the licence. The Board requested that the Licensee propose suspension dates;
AND WHEREAS the Licensee has proposed suspension dates which are acceptable to the Board;
THEREFORE the Board hereby ORDERS that the liquor licence issued to Viet Truong operating as GIA-HAN QUAN KARAOKE BAR, 430 York Boulevard, Unit 6, Hamilton, Ontario, L8R 3K8, licence number 805193, be SUSPENDED for FIFTEEN (15) consecutive days to COMMENCE at 11:00 a.m. on October 22, 2008 and continue until 2:00 a.m. on November 6, 2008.
