RESTAURANT & LOUNGE, 1220 DANFORTH AVENUE, TORONTO
LICENCE NUMBER 802256
O R D E R
WHEREAS the Board of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission held a hearing on July 28, 2008, pursuant to Notice of Proposal number 16121 dated March 13, 2008, to suspend licence number 802256, issued to 1412407 Ontario Inc., operating as COTTAGE RESTAURANT & LOUNGE, 1220 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M4J 1M6;
AND WHEREAS in its decision of August 13, 2008, the Board found that the Licensee had breached subsection 45(1) of the Liquor Licence Act (LLA) and section 29 and subsections 34(1) and 45(1) of Ontario Revised Regulation 719/90 prescribed under the LLA;
AND WHEREAS in its decision of September 2, 2008, the Board ordered a FOURTEEN (14) day suspension of the liquor licence and requested that the Licensee propose suspension dates;
AND WHEREAS the Licensee has proposed suspension dates which are acceptable to the Board;
THEREFORE the Board hereby ORDERS that the liquor licence issued to 1412407 Ontario Inc., operating as COTTAGE RESTAURANT & LOUNGE, 1220 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M4J 1M6, licence number 802256, be SUSPENDED for FOURTEEN (14) consecutive days to COMMENCE at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2008 and continue until 2:00 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2008.
