Allegations
1A hearing into a Notice of Proposal number 16147 dated March 31, 2008 to revoke a liquor licence and an Order dated March 31, 2008 to immediately suspend a liquor licence on an interim basis pending a hearing to liquor licence number 810959 issued to 1649134 Ontario Inc. operating as SUEDE, 790 Kanata Avenue, Unit M2B, Ottawa, Ontario, K2T 1H8, on the basis of alleged violations of subsection 6(2)(d), 29, 45(1) and 45(2) of the Liquor Licence Act (“LLA”) and subsection 45(1) of Ontario Regulation 719/90 (“O.Reg”) made pursuant to the LLA, commenced on April 10, 2008 in the City of Ottawa.
Preliminary Matters
2The Licensee through its representative, Mr. Frank Tierney, requested an adjournment of the proceedings until April 21, 2008, which date was agreeable to Registrar’s representative who indicated her consent to the adjournment request. The Licensee, through its representative, also consented to the continuation of the Interim Suspension Order of March 31, 2008 to that hearing date.

3The Board, therefore GRANTS the adjournment request and CONFIRMS its oral ORDER that the Interim Suspension currently in place on licence number 810959 issued to 1649134 Ontario Inc. operating as SUEDE, 790 Kanata Avenue, Unit M2B, Ottawa, Ontario, K2T 1H8, remain in effect until the next hearing date of April 21, 2008, at which time its continuation will be re-considered upon request by the parties.
