O R D E R
WHEREAS a hearing into a Notice of Proposal number 15853 dated December 13, 2007 to suspend liquor licence number 23709 issued to 4050886 Canada Inc., (the "Licensee") operating as LEATHER WORKS PUB & RESTAURANT (THE), 12 Bell Street, Carleton Place, Ontario, K7C 1V9, on the basis of alleged violations of section 29 of the Liquor Licence Act (LLA) and subsections 44(1) and 45(1) of Ontario Regulation 719/90 (O.Reg) made pursuant to the LLA, was held on February 21, 2008 in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.
AND WHEREAS in its decision of March 17, 2008, amended April 14, 2008, the Board found violations of section 29 of the LLA and subsections 44(1) and 45(1) of the O.Reg;
AND WHEREAS in its decision of May 13, 2008 the Board ordered a fourteen (14) day suspension of the liquor licence and requested that the Licensee propose suspension dates;
AND WHEREAS the Licensee has not submitted proposed suspension dates in the required timeframe. By letter dated May 26, 2008, the Board requested suspension dates from the Licensee, failing receipt of which, the Board reserved the right to impose suspension dates without further consultation to the Licensee. The Licensee failed to respond;
THEREFORE the Board hereby ORDERS liquor licence number 0023709 issued to 4050886 Canada Inc., operating as Leather Works Pub & Restaurant (The), 12 Bell Street, Carleton Place, Ontario, K7C 1V9, be SUSPENDED for FOURTEEN (14) consecutive days to COMMENCE at 11 a.m. on July 7, 2008 and continue until 2 a.m. on July 21, 2008.
